Options for family members re fatal motor vehicle accidents

One can only imagine the sorrow involved upon learning of a loved one's sudden, untimely death. Arizona motor vehicle accidents often result in fatalities that leave families grief-stricken for months. As family members go through a healing process, they may also think about pursuing justice when negligence was a causal factor in their loved ones' deaths.

A recent tragedy appears to have involved a pedestrian although investigators have not yet published their conclusions regarding specific events leading up to a woman's death. A witness has provided information to authorities and the investigation remains ongoing at this time. A few facts have already been determined regarding the accident.

A man walking his dog said he noticed a car in the middle of the road. The driver's side door of the vehicle was ajar. Strangely, the trunk of the car was open as well. At some point, the driver of the vehicle attempted to move the car off the road.

Shockingly, a woman was found lying in the road underneath the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene and officials say she had suffered burns and wounds consistent with being trapped under a car. When an Arizona pedestrian is struck and killed by a seemingly negligent driver, immediate family members may seek recovery for their losses by filing wrongful death claims in civil court. The process can be quite stressful, which is why most choose to ask for assistance from experienced personal injury attorneys who can act on the behalves of their clients to seek compensation for damages sustained.
