2 Arizona footballs stars involved in tragic car accident

Pima Community College football fans in and around Phoenix are grieving the loss of fullback Jordan Waddell, who recently died in a devastating car crash. Motor vehicle accidents often occur at intersections, which is what occurred in this particular tragedy on a Thursday night not long before midnight. Waddell was apparently driving east in the car at the time of the crash, though he was not alone in the vehicle.

Reportedly, University of Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Donovan Moore was a passenger in Waddell's vehicle. Moore suffered serious injuries in the accident. There was another vehicle involved in the crash.

The woman driving that car is said to have suffered minor injuries. Her car was apparently stopped at a red light at an intersection. When the light turned green, she proceeded into the intersection; officials say Waddell did not stop for a red light, instead veering straight into the woman's southbound vehicle.

Hopefully, Moore will be able to achieve a full recovery from his serious injuries. For an athlete, such circumstances may cause an entire career to hang in the balance. When an injury is deemed caused by the negligence of another party (as appears to be the case in this situation) a recovering victim may seek justice by filing and pursuing a personal injury claim in an Arizona civil court against any and all parties believed responsible for his or her suffering. Before heading to court, it's always a good idea to consult with an experienced attorney. In this case, the claim would be made against the estate of Jordan Waddell as well as against any separate party with an ownership interest in the vehicle he was driving.
